This club is called The Brian Moles Club & was founded in May 2006, by two good friends, Jo & Neil.

Our aims are:

* to provide & maintain a community of like-minded people;

* to enable people of all different backgrounds to make new friends, through our final aim -

* raising money for charitable causes

The idea of bringing people together may seem an unusual past-time, but as we live in a multicultural society, we believe it is important. Most of the present members are united through a common interest, that is they are fans of rock group Queen; however, we don't aspire to being some kind of secondary Queen fan club. We want & hope to encourage people to join us from all walks of life; all races, religions & so on; & unite them through the two common interests of having fun making new friends & raising money for charities that have an important role in either our own lives, or the lives of people we care about.

The Brian Moles Club is, as far as we are aware, unique in its support of multiple charities. When we started out, we had difficulty in choosing just one good cause to support with our fundraising efforts & so we decided to do something a bit different. We permanently support two charities, & then ask our members to nominate a third, prior to each fundraising event. You can find out more about our charities here.

Our fundraising events are, of course, how we raise money for our chosen charities, & at the same time our members get the opportunity to meet up & have a good time. We hope to be able to have events up to 3 or 4 times a year, & we've already had many ideas, such as music concerts, sponsored events (with a twist!) & much more.

This website is regularly updated & we are often adding new features, such as our brand new blog! We really hope that you will be inspired to join (membership is FREE as we are non-profit making) & take part in our activities. We value our members' opinions, so if you have any stories to share, ideas to suggest or questions to ask, please get in touch, via our forum, blog or you can contact us.
